Wishbone Gates April 30, 2017

I have for you two pictures in one of a railroad crossing with wishbone crossing gates, or A-type crossing gates. The top picture shows the crossing at rest and the bottom picture shows the crossing in action.

Like I did in my previous deviation submission willm3luvtrains.deviantart.com…, I have the wishbone gates, which of course are wooden in this drawing, mounted separately from the crossing light signals. In this picture, however, both crossing gates are wishbone gates. In addition, the crossbucks and both the forward and rear-facing lights are mounted on the front masts while the back-masts hold the gates and the bells. The bells are on the gates, not the crossbuck signals.

All signal lights are 8", the gate lights are 4" and the bells are mechanical. And all lights are incandescent.

This was sort of inspired by a railroad crossing I saw on an episode of "Hart to Hart," which takes place almost entirely on a train, which is an Amtrak train, and a railroad crossing is featured and kind of like this, except the gate is black and white and the crossing is filmed backwards for some reason, making the gate look like it came down from the left. But the gate is mounted behind the signal there like in this picture.
